From March 11 to June 3, 2026, we delivered our full 12-week motor development program across three weekly class sections at Upper Merion Baptist Preschool in King of Prussia, PA, serving 36 children ages 3-5. Here is what happened.
Every outcome below was observed and recorded by our instructors across the 12-week cycle.
Hold a one-foot balance for a full 3-count. Roughly half of children could do this in week 1; by week 12, nearly all could (approximately 95%).
Execute a 3-step movement sequence (jump, balance, freeze) with zero prompting, demonstrating direction-following, working memory, and self-control.
The frog jump through the agility ladder showed the largest gain: a skill most children struggled with at introduction became one of the most consistently mastered by program end.
Children waited their turn on designated spots, listened during coach instruction, and held freeze cues, behaviors classroom teachers prize as kindergarten readiness.
The data tells part of the story. These two children tell the rest.
Teachers and families saw the program up close every week. Their response speaks for itself.
Every classroom teacher across the three class sections praised the program and reported enjoying it week after week.
Families packed the week-10 showcase where children demonstrated every skill learned, and repeatedly thanked the coaching team afterward.
After seeing one full program cycle, Director Linda Bloemker renewed Ready Set Fit for the entire 2026-27 school year at Upper Merion Baptist Preschool.
Results are drawn from instructor observation records, attendance logs, teacher feedback, and family engagement during the March to June 2026 cycle. A formal assessment rubric is planned for Year 2.
Start with a free demo class, no commitment, no contracts. Funders and community partners: we would love to talk about expanding this program to more children.
